Our fragile economy and environment are in dire need of restoration, and the bulk of that task will fall on the shoulders of our youth. An education in sustainability and green strategy for future generations is key to the future of this planet. Children and young adults have the most potential for understanding the integration of ecology and economics. Experiencing the green economy first-hand is a concrete and effective way to heighten their awareness.
Bay Area Green Tours has designed tours specifically for this purpose and provides people of all ages a chance to experience sustainable solutions in action. Not just in books or media, but a chance to see what “green” really means and how it is working.

By sponsoring or donating to the Bay Area Green Tours, you help ensure that people from all walks of life can touch, taste, smell and feel the next wave in our society’s development.
More importantly, you can specify how you want your donated funds to be used:
- Buy seats on a bus for low income or disadvantaged “Green Collar Kids”
- Sponsor a bus for your local children’s group, senior center, church organization
or other specialty groups - Reserve a bus for your corporation’s employees or V.I.P.s
- Invite a group from another region or even another country!
Businesses can sponsor a school bus for $1500 and expand horizons for a whole class of students. In addition, for your support you will receive exceptional exposure and brand recognition! You’ll become part of a growing number of businesses and organizations that are promoting the Bay Area as an eco-hub, groups that are proud to call the region their home. BAGT offers excellent marketing exposure in return for your financial support:
- Banner logo placement on moving billboards including the EBGT bus

Sponsor a Seat for the Future
Every seat on an Bay Area Green Tours represents a seed for the future. When a young person comes on one of our tours, a whole new world of possibilities comes into view for them. BAGT invites supporters to “sponsor” a seat for our local youth. We strongly encourage concerned citizens to buy seats and donate them to “Green Collar Kids”: at-risk youth and young adults from backgrounds where the term ‘green’ might only mean a color, not a cultural shift. You can choose the recipient or EBGT will fill the seat with a deserving youth from one of the schools we are working with. You will provide opportunity for new knowledge and possibilities to schools and youth who might otherwise be unable to afford a place on a tour.
You can sponsor at the price of $90 per seat. Through your support of our “Sponsor a Seat” program you can help reweave the fabric of awareness in our society, with a focus on a sustainable future.
